What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card built into your phone. Instead of inserting a physical card, you scan a QR code and your phone connects to a local network — no hardware needed.
Which devices support eSIM?
Most modern smartphones support eSIM: iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3+, Samsung Galaxy S20+, and many others. Check your device settings under Mobile Data → Add eSIM.
When does the data plan start?
Your plan activates the first time your device connects to a supported network in your destination country. The validity countdown begins at that moment, not at purchase.
Can I keep my regular number?
Yes. The eSIM runs alongside your existing SIM. Your regular number stays active for calls and texts — the eSIM is used only for data.
